This dialog allows you to specify the options to use when reading a tab-delimited file.

The file to import is expected to be encoded in UTF-8.

Columns to import -- Check the columns to import. the list of the columns is generated from reading the first lines of the file to import.

Re-Scan File -- click this button to re-read the first lines of the file to import to adjust columns information if you change some options that affect the way the table is processed.

Field type -- Select the type of field for the current column.

Language -- Select the language for the current column. This option is available only when the Field type option is set to a type that can be language-specific. You can either pick a language in the list of existing one, or enter a new language code to add a new language in the TM.

Treat spaces like tab characters -- Set this option to make no difference between spaces and tabs when parsing the file.

First line is the header -- Set this option to indicate that the first non-empty line of the file to import is a header line. It should not be processed as a data line, and its fields can be used for column names.

Flag the imported entries -- Set this option to flag the entries that are imported. Note that any entries already flagged will remain flagged as well.

Merge entries -- Set this option to merge the entries of the file to import, rather than to add them at the end of the current entries. This option is available only if you are importing into an existing TM.
