TM PropertiesShortcuts: F4 (General tab), Ctrl+L (Languages tab), Ctrl+T (Attributes tab) This dialog box allows you to view and modify the properties of the translation memory currently loaded. For example you can change the source and target languages, you can add or remove languages from the translation memory, you can edit attributes, and much more. The dialog box has several tabs: General, Languages, Attributes, and Advanced. General TabThis tab shows the various general information associated with the translation memory. Creation tool -- The identifier of the
tool that created the TM initially. This corresponds to the Creation tool version
-- The identifier of the version of the tool that created the TM initially.
This corresponds to the
Admin language -- The code of the language of the
notes and properties. This corresponds to the Segment type
-- The identifier of the default type of segments the TM contains. This corresponds
to the Original TM format -- The
identifier of the original TM format from where the data is coming from.
This corresponds to the Data type -- The default data type the TM entries contain.
This corresponds to the Original encoding -- The name of
the encoding in which the data were originally. This corresponds to the TMX version -- The TMX version
number used when the file is saved as a TMX document. This corresponds to
the Creation date -- The date and
time when the TM was created. This corresponds to the Creation user
-- The identifier of the user who created the TM. This corresponds to the
Change date -- The date and time when the TM was last saved.
This corresponds to the Change user -- The
identifier of the user who last saved the TM. This corresponds to the File format -- The type of file format the TM was in when it was loaded into Olifant. File encoding -- The encoding that is used when saving the file. Languages TabThis tab allows you to maintain the languages in the file. Note that any real modification on the file is done only when you click the OK button to close the dialog box. You can undo any addition or removal of language by clicking Cancel. Current languages -- The list of the languages currently in the file. Add -- Click this button to add a new language. You will be prompted to enter a language code. Remove -- Click this button to remove the language currently selected from the file. This command is available only if you have more than two languages in the file. Attributes TabCurrent attribute -- Select the attribute you want to edit. Note that not all attributes are editable. Remove -- Click this button to remove the current attribute from the TM. The attribute will be actually removed only when when click the OK button of the dialog box. Advanced TabThis tab allows you to edit the information present in the header the TMX file. Other properties -- The different properties stored in
