User Preferences
This dialog box allows you to specify preferences that will be carried over any sessions of Rainbow.
General Tab
Load automatically the last project used in the previous session -- Set this option to open automatically at startup the last project that was opened during the previous session.
Show grid lines in the input file lists -- Set this option to display lines in the input file lists.
Allow duplicate files in the input lists -- Sets this option to allow entering the same input file several times in the same input list. This may be useful is some arer cases of specific process.
File Edit Tab
When editing an input file, prompt the user to choose the editor application -- Set this option to be prompted when you edit an input file.
Edit the file with the default associated editor -- Select this option to use the program associated with the "Edit" Shell command associated with the type of the given file.
Open the file with the default associated application -- Select this option to use the program associated with the "Open" Shell command associated with the type of the given file.
Use the following application to open the file -- Select this option to open the given file with the program specified in the text field below the option. You can use the browse button to select the program to use.
File View Tab
This tab allows you to specify how different file types are displayed in the Viewer window.
Use the Browser viewer for the following file types -- Enters the extensions of the files to see with the Browser view. Each extension must start with a period. They should be separated by a space.
Use the Text viewer for the following file types -- Enters the extensions of the files to see with the Text view. Each extension must start with a period. They should be separated by a space.
Do not display the files of the following types -- Enters the extensions of the files that should not be display in the Viewer window. Each extension must start with a period. They should be separated by a space.
Font -- Click this button to open the font selection dialog box and choose a font for the Text viewer.
