Text Extraction

To use this function:

  1. Make sure the option When the Clipboard content changes, do the following action is set.
  2. In the action list, select "Extract text".
  3. Click the Options button and set the source language you want.
  4. Click Close.
  5. Go to you application and copy the different text entries. they are automatically placed into Album's table.
  6. When it's done, re-open the Text Extraction Options dialog box and use the Save As button to create the XLIFF file corresponding to the extracted entries.

To merge back the translated text into its original file, you can use Album's Bilingual Lookup function.

Text Extraction Options

Source language -- Enter the code of the source language (The language of the text you copy into the Clipboard).

Clear -- Click this button to delete all current entries of the table.

Save As -- Click this button to save the current entries of the table as an XLIFF document.
